Middle East: Workers Needed

ACTION is seeking qualified long-term workers (singles and families) to help with new ministry opportunities in the region. A passion and aptitude for language and cultural learning is essential, as well as being flexible, adaptable, and willing to partner with other NGOs and nationals.

Responsible for recruitment, training, and establishing workers in self-sustaining projects. Network and partner with local and international NGOs and churches. Report to ACTION International and supporters. Facilitate team development and participatory strategic planning. Provide pastoral care of workers.

Education Coordinator: Develop an educational program for reaching children and youth, primarily refugees. Introduce pilot project that can be a relevant pre-school for preparatory elementary-school education.

Leadership Development Coordinator: Elaborate overall discipling strategy for developing Christian leaders with a specific focus on theological education and business models.

Trauma-care Coordinator: All workers will need training in this area, so this person must be gifted to carry-out programs for long-term health through gradual inner-healing methods to benefit families, institutions, and individuals.

Intercessor: Called individual to keep the team focused on intercession and small-group fellowships. Multi-cultural and experienced church-planter. Ideal that this person has a gifting for inter-religious dialogue.  

Administrator: Able to administrate finances with clear accountability and reporting. Plant an NGO or church structure. Choose Board members and accompany the gestation of establishing a national structure. Arrange Partnership Agreements. 

Secretary: This person would oversee provision for all visitors, such as housing, transportation, and project development with briefing and de-briefing. Responsible for team communication and maintenance of office and announcements to team members.
