Commitment: Minimum 2 months, preferred at least 6 months to career

Qualifications: 

• High school graduate who is at least 21 years old.
• Born-again Christian who desires to glorify God and be used by Him in partnership with Brand New Day.
• Active in a local church and recommended by his/her pastor.
• Subject to approval requirements and screening by ACTION’s sending office.
• Basic CMU and concrete construction experience with at least one year of experience.

Task Description:

In 2026, Brand New Day completed all but the last phase of a huge building project. On-site, we have four major 2-story buildings that need maintenance and upkeep: Faith Boys’ Home, Love Girls’ Home, Joy Multipurpose Building, and Hope Resource Building. Small construction and landscaping projects are also needed around the site. All construction is concrete and CMU-based, and the main skills needed are plumbing, simple electrical, and working with cement. BND has young men to help with maintenance, but we need an expert to supervise all maintenance and upkeep onsite while also training others.  

Commitments are needed for as long as possible, for a minimum of three months. Part-time language study is also a must and will be facilitated online once in-country.
