Malawi: Feeding Program
In 2016, we fed more than 3,000 orphans and widows for twelve weeks during the time when the food is most scarce. On the Bwanji Valley, where drought has brought a devastating famine, we served 600 orphans three times a week for the whole year!
In 2017, we increased our food supply from 800 boxes to 1,000 boxes, enabling us to feed more of the children in the villages that surround us.
Our goal has been to double the number orphans and widows that we serve through our feeding programs.
