Philippines: BND Staff Family Emergency Fund
This fund is for emergency medical needs of Brand New Day’s staff’s family members.
Our current need is for the family of BND Founders Krista and Mervi. Their father, Virgilio, is currently being hospitalized (as of 2/5/25) for complications of severe emphysema.
Their sister Trisha also needs her gall bladder removed soon (likely around the same amount), although she's currently under observation and treatment first for thyroid imbalance. In both cases, health insurance is not an option so it will be almost all out of pocket.
