Cuba: Horses for Pastors Project

$400 provides a horse or mule for a pastor in rural Cuba

We work with many pastors who travel long distances in mountainous areas of Cuba in order to minister at the churches and mission stations for which they are responsible. Your donation allows the ACTION team to make ministry work and family errands much easier and quicker through the provision of a horse or mule.

This thank-you note from pastor Ebenezer Pérez describes how the gift of a mule blessed his family:

“I pastor a Baptist church in a remote area of Maisí, eastern Cuba. We have an attendance of 40 to 45 people. This mule is of great help because we live in a place where there is no public transportation. Now I can more easily visit the brothers and sisters of our congregation and attend other meetings. I can go to get the groceries in town; in the past I had to bring these supplies home on my back. Also, where we live there is no water. There is a well more than a mile away with a steep road. Now with the mule we can get the water easier.”
