The Vienna Team seeks to encourage meaningful connections among people of all cultures living in Vienna while helping facilitate the integration of migrants and refugees into the wider community. We offer holistic care through practical, emotional, and spiritual support, believing that genuine relationships are at the heart of lasting integration.
Our primary ministry is an intercultural community center located in a vibrant, multicultural neighborhood of Vienna. This center serves as a welcoming space where locals, church communities, and individuals from migrant and refugee backgrounds can come together in an atmosphere of openness, respect, and genuine care. Here, relationships are formed and nurtured as we seek to be a blessing in the lives of those we meet—offering practical assistance while sharing God’s love in tangible, everyday ways.
We pursue this mission by intentionally connecting immigrants—especially those from refugee backgrounds—with Christians, local churches, and the broader community. Our team visits people in their homes, walks alongside them through mentoring and discipleship, and seeks to support individuals and families in their specific needs. Through these personal connections, trust is built and lives are shared.
Through programs such as language cafés, homework assistance, creative workshops, and spaces for open dialogue, we provide opportunities for connection, belonging, and self-expression. Whether through art, music, writing, drama, dance, or cooking together, the center becomes a place where people can share their gifts and cultures while building meaningful community. These programs also create natural spaces for people to explore questions of faith and grow in their understanding of the Christian life.
Our commitment to relationship-building extends beyond the walls of the center. We intentionally foster community through shared social activities such as hikes, picnics, bike rides, coffee, and meals together. These ongoing interactions create space for deeper conversations, long-term relationships, and opportunities to explore and grow in the Christian faith. In this way, the center becomes more than a program—it becomes a home for connection, hope, and holistic care.
