A New Season for the Seiling Family
Hello friends,
We first want to say thank you to everyone who prayed for and supported our family through a very difficult time the past few weeks. For those of you who haven’t heard, on February 18 our daughter Anaya was in an accident that severely damaged her left eye. She underwent surgery on Tuesday, February 21. A mesh titanium implant was placed on the fractured sinus wall. Unfortunately, the eye was so badly damaged that it couldn’t be repaired or saved. Her eye was removed, and an acrylic implant was placed in her eye socket. We are now working through details of having a prosthetic eye fitted in Canada.
This has been a very tragic and traumatic experience for our family. We are so thankful for the supportiveness of the body of Christ and the love that has been extended to our family. Prayer truly makes a difference. This will be a long road of healing from the trauma and also learning what it means for Anaya and our family to live life with the effects of this tragedy.
However, it is amazing the peace and strength that God has given us through this time. God’s grace is truly sufficient for all situations in life. We need your continued prayers, since there is healing that still needs to take place. Please continue to pray for Anaya's physical healing. Currently she is on antibiotics again, because she was developing an infection. Please pray as well for emotional healing for our family.
