First Regional Meeting for Latin America and the Caribbean

First Regional Meeting for Latin America and the Caribbean

This summer we had the first Regional Meeting for workers serving in Latin America and the Caribbean. A total of 36 people gathered, representing 10 of our fields: Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, Mexico, Peru, United States and Canada.

The meeting took place in San José, Costa Rica and the purpose of it, was to get to know one another to try to build relationships that could serve as a supporting tool in times of need. Likewise, we wanted or faithful servants to have a time of rest and enjoyment of nature and food, and time for fellowship in prayer and in the Word.

We got to set goals for our ministries and plan our budgets. We reflected again on the importance of the body of Christ to build His Kingdom. We also got to hike and delight with waterfalls, hummingbirds and butterflies. Some of us even got to go share the good news of Salvation in one of the public Universities.

It was an edifying time that we hope to repeat in the future, with more workers and more countries represented, as God keeps adding to our ACTION family.
