Onward in Joyful Faith! - ACTION Celebrates 50 Years!

What an extraordinary celebration Tom and Beth Potter and the ACTION Philippines team put on for us last month! The program was wonderful. Weren't those cultural dancers amazing? The food was delicious -- especially for those of us who love sticky rice. And how about those Australian children's ministers?! We parents enjoyed our time so much more since our kids were happy too.

For those of you who were not able to make it -- almost half of us -- we missed you. The media team is working to produce recordings of various aspects of our gathering that you can watch any time.

But best of all was the fellowship! Over 240 ACTIONites attended, some from very difficult, lonely fields of service. What an encouragement it was for them to laugh and weep and pray together! Many knew the ACTION family primarily through virtual communication. This was their first time to sense the Lord's pleasure in our Christ-centered camaraderie. 

By now we are back to our practice and proclamation of the gospel wherever the Lord of the Harvest has commissioned us. But certainly we march on with more love in our hearts for God's people, and more joyful expectation of what He can do through weak instruments filled with His Spirit and loving one another.
