Riding for Children in Crisis - Funds Still Needed!

For the past 3 years, Scott Gillespie, director for Promotion and Recruitment for ACTION Canada, has been doing a 25km ride to raise funds for ACTION’s Children in Crisis account, funds available to ACTION missionaries around the world to assist them in meeting the needs of the poor and vulnerable – youth and families on the street, orphans, squatter communities, the elderly, disabled, inmates and their families, etc.

The funds help purchase things like school uniforms and supplies, medical expenses, meals, etc. This year Scott is looking to raise $3000 (CAD), and the ride will take place at the end of September. He still has a long way to reach his financial goal. If anyone wishes to find out more about the ride and/or give a donation online, visit the link below. People can also send cheques to one of the ACTION offices, made payable to “Action International Ministries”, with a note saying it is for “Scott Gillespie’s Ride for CiC”.

Even after the ride takes place, people can still give a donation! Please consider giving a donation to help Scott reach his goal so the needs of many more poor and vulnerable can be met.
