Ian & Monica Elliott
Ian and Monica grew up in the Northwest and have four children and four grandchildren. In 1994, the Lord led Ian to the mission field, where he built and supported churches throughout Russia and established an organization called Russian Harvest Outreach. From 2004 to 2017, Monica joined him in ministry, leading short-term teams and providing support and care for families that were on the field, as well as serving in prison, an orphanage, and aid ministries.
In 2018, Ian and Monica joined ACTION and served in the Philippines. There, they supported midwives and families through Shalom Birthing Home and partnered with a doctor and midwife on the island of Oriental Mindoro.
In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought them back to the United States. During this season, Monica continued her education to become a Board-Certified Naturopath and Biblical counselor, while Ian pastored at a local church, strengthened his skills, and invested in developing discipleship leaders. This season also served as a time of preparation, equipping them for future ministry and a possible return to the field.
In 2024, God began stirring their hearts once again toward missions and continued work with ACTION. Returning to ACTION in December 2025, they will serve as Safeguarding Coordinators and Team Support.
In this new role, they will support ACTION USA’s sent Field Workers and their families, as well as the USA office, by providing specialized care and oversight to help safeguard Action’s members and those they serve. Their work will also include supporting teams in developing healthy ministries, strengthening their witness for the Lord, and traveling to the field to meet face-to-face with members and, at times, accompany teams throughout the year. Ian will continue pastoring at their local church while supporting Monica in her work with ACTION.
