Marco & Claudia van de Merwe

Originally from The Netherlands, Marco has been a missionary for over 30 years. He and Claudia have been married for 27 years and worked in the South of Brazil, from 2003 until 2021. For 18 years they directed the ministry of Fazenda Emanuel, a community outreach located in the rural area and focused on prevention. Marco has served on the Action Brazil board for many years. Claudia is originally from Brazil and has served as a missionary for approximately 30 years, as well. She also has served on the Action Brazil board for several years. They have years of experience serving the vulnerable through outreach, discipleship, counseling, community and leadership development, children in crisis/refugees.  

Since March 2023 they have been living in the Netherlands and have taken the role of Europe Regional Coordinators.
