Send a Note Start a Campaign

Isaac and Faith Madsen have been married since 2016. They have three young children. They met at church in Moscow, Idaho, while Isaac was finishing his PhD at Washington State University (WSU) and Faith had just graduated with her A.A. from New Saint Andrews College. After graduating with his PhD in soil science, Isaac went on to work as a postdoc and then professor and extension agronomist at WSU until August of 2022. The Madsens plan to move to Lusaka, Zambia in early 2023 for Isaac to begin teaching in the agriculture department at African Christian University (ACU).

African Christian University

The mission of ACU is “to educate students from the Christian worldview in the historic and contemporary body of truths through the classical liberal arts and sciences for all vocations and spheres of life by developing students’ discernment, discipling holistically, and equipping with practical skills.” Isaac hopes to use his area of expertise in soil science to help ACU better achieve its mission in providing an excellent Christian education to young farmers and scientists in Zambia and all of Africa.

Please pray for the Madsens as they prepare to move their family to Zambia.
