Andrew Murray Gallup Memorial

Send a Note Start a Campaign

Andrew Gallup went to be with the Lord, November 17, 2018. Andy's "thing," as he liked to put it, was academics. He had a passion for learning. In loving memory of him, the Gallup family set up the Andrew Gallup Memorial Fund to honor his love of learning by helping kids in Gulu attend school.

He was born November 10, 1995 in the Republic of Sierra Leone, West Africa. At that time, the country was in the midst of civil war; Andy was one of many children left orphaned by sickness and war devastation. In 2000, Andy and his older brother, Raymond, were adopted into the Gallup family. They grew up in Georgia with six other siblings.

Because so many children in Africa have little or no opportunity for education, the family knows Andy would be overjoyed that this Memorial Fund will give so many children a chance for a quality education and personal opportunity. The fund is specifically used to meet the educational expenses of underfunded children in Uganda.
