A Unique Christmas in Brazil
We had a very unique Christmas celebration in 2020. We usually have a nice Christmas party, where we share the good news of the coming of Jesus Christ, rejoice with happy music, have a delicious meal, and the kids receive presents. Due to the pandemic, we had to be creative. Since the kids and their families could not come to the location of the ministry, we were inspired to go to them instead with a Christmas pageant. A brother from our local church came with his pickup truck, where we created a Christmas scene, and our team followed with other cars. As we handed out the Christmas presents, our teams sang Christmas songs. Along with the presents, we gave each family a special food basket with something for everyone in the family.
As we visited each family, we noticed how much they appreciated our visit. The masks could not hide the thankfulness we could see in their eyes. It is a privilege to be God’s instrument to carry His presence and His love to the ones in need. Thank you for being part of that!
