Ministry Update from ACTION Zambia
While many ministries and missions slow down during December and January, here at ACTION Zambia, we seem to get busier and busier! We've recently:
- had two CROSS graduations
- had two children's outreaches with the Champs at a local orphanage
- interviewed 22 new Champs
- accepted 20 new young leaders (our biggest cohort yet!)
- hosted a team from YWAM (in partnership with ACTION South Africa) to do community outreaches with children
- worked at local churches and community schools with kids
- had loads of meetings
- officiated my first wedding for one of Champ graduates
- done street evangelism with our Champs and Ciyanjano staff
- started our new Champs discipleship group
Whew! We still have contracts to write and ministry budgets and proposals to create all while surviving the ups and downs of ministry and bureaucracy. Even though life gets crazy and busy at times, we are thankful for all these ways that we are privileged to serve in Zambia!
