Chris and Ashley Irvin

Chris and Ashley are from Northern Idaho but traveled to Brazil several times over the course of 14 years for volunteering and visiting friends. In 2019, during a trip to São Paulo to learn more about ACTION, they realized that their love for serving others over the years, through student life, discipleship, and showing others the love of Jesus, was leading them to focus on serving the people of Brazil. Chris has a background in public health, and Ashley has training in business management and photojournalism. Together, they have experience in working with children from difficult backgrounds and also leading cross-cultural trips. These experiences and skills equip them well as they begin their journey with various Action volunteers around São Paulo.

You can commit to pray for us! We would love to have the prayers of God’s people directed to us. The time we will spend there will be physically and spiritually draining, and that will require all of you to go to God on our behalf.
