URGENT NEED: Help Restore the Action Uganda Ministry Vehicle

Bringing Christ’s love in word and deed to children in crisis is at the heart of ACTION’s mission. In Uganda, our team serves 31 sponsored children across three different towns—many of whom have special needs, chronic medical conditions, and limited access to education. For these precious children, transportation is not a convenience—it is a lifeline.

Today, we are asking for your help.

The Situation

Action Uganda’s ministry vehicle has broken down and urgently needs repair. Without this vehicle, essential ministry activities cannot continue safely or effectively.

What the Vehicle Does Every Week

• Transports special-needs children to and from school—their only safe and consistent access to education.
• Delivers school supplies to the different schools our sponsored children attend.
• Facilitates home visits and school follow-ups, ensuring spiritual, emotional, and educational support.
• Delivers epilepsy medication to vulnerable children who rely on it for stability and safety.
• Provides transport for ACTION visitors and ministry partners, strengthening training and support for the field.

Every one of these services reflects ACTION’s calling to minister Christ’s gospel to children in crisis with compassion and practical care.

The Financial Need: $5,000 USD

We are trusting the Lord to provide $5,000 to fully repair the ministry vehicle and restore it to safe, reliable service.

This amount will cover:

• Complete mechanical repair
• Replacement of nonfunctional parts
• Safety servicing
• Any additional work needed to ensure long-term reliability

Once repaired, the vehicle will immediately return to serving children, families, and communities across northern Uganda.

Why This Matters

When the vehicle stopped working:

• Special-needs children missed school
• Medication deliveries slowed
• Follow-up and discipleship visits became extremely difficult
• Ministry momentum suffered

Repairing this vehicle will reopen the doors of ministry, allowing our team to reach, protect, and disciple the children and families God has entrusted to us.
